Dear Sister Joann: 1999-10-02
Saturday, October 2nd, 1999Ho Jo.
All is very well here this week. Got some new memory for my older home computer. But it’s not working correctly and so I have to call their customer service number today and try to figure out what’s wrong. Aaaah computers. They’re great at solving problems. But when they get problems themselves, those issues can be quite difficult to track down. But that’s what makes them so fun – just full of challenges.
The trees haven’t really started turning colors around here yet. Oh, there are a few brown and yellow leaves here and there. But I think Philly is a couple weeks behind you guys in the seasons. Signs of autumn show up here, later in the year, than in Bellwood. And our springs here in the tri-state area come a couple weeks sooner I think. Hope there is still some color up there when I come home for our cousin’s wedding.
Friday, here, was gorgeous. And looks like today is going to be the same. High temp today is going to be 76.
Oh, in your letter, why were you shouting? You did it all in capital letters.
Okay, gotta run. Take care and say hi to the kids for me.
Later,
Tom
