Dear Chrissy: On Relocating

Friday, November 5th, 1999

Hi   [Chrissy].

Nice to hear from you. No, I’m still where you and I worked before; but I’m working from home these days, in Philadelphia. Yes, I am from central PA, and am much closer to home and family than I was in Dayton. Plus, I get around with greater ease here, with all the public transportation available. I am much happier as a result. Was glad to be rid of that big house in Ohio too. Too much responsibility for one. :-) Been seeing an interesting lady from Maine. Work is going well. Sometimes I miss the Dayton crowd. But the big city is where I really had to be.

Still Got That Cold

Friday, November 5th, 1999

Good morning, [Lynn].

Just got your letter you sent about 10 minutes ago. Will respond more to it later.

Still not feeling very good today. I hope I feel up to bowling this evening.

You did nothing wrong last night and you did not push too hard for more information. I’m starting to feel more comfortable with you. So, more info will definitely be forthcoming.   :-)

Temper. Me? Naaaah. The cold I’m carrying just made it seem like a temper, much the same way as toadstools are mistaken for mushrooms. :-)

More later,
Tom Hesley
