Tid Bits To Lynn: 1999-11-09
Dear [Lynn],
I’m sorry. Not feeling very well today, and cognitive and creative energies are in very short supply.

Pop is soda – Pepsi, Coke, 7-Up, etc.
A gumband is a rubber band.
A buggy, I think, is a horse driven carriage that the Amish drive around in some areas of PA.
A hoagie is a submarine sandwich with a long bun (6 to 15 inches long). Pizza shops often make these with lots of ham, salami, pepperoni, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and various spices.
Oh, and ‘chipped ham’ is very thinly sliced ham (almost paper thin) that many folks here eat on sandwiches. Makes it less chewy, although to me, it doesn’t really taste much like ham, since it seems to be cured differently than the ham you bake.
There. Are you hungry now?

Ah yes. Okay. Talk to you when you get finished with SONG. :-0 La la LA la la.

Making fun of you? Absolutely not. Never. No way. Nope.
The O face reminds me of those Charlie Brown cartoons, where, when one of them yells, the whole face turns into this big black circle with dark red tonsils and a tongue at the bottom. Does your face get like that when you sing? Now, that WOULD be exceedingly funny. |-O
