I do like quiet. But I like socializing also, like you. A balance. You know. But I hate noise I didn’t ask for, especially when it occurs in my home and it is not my mate or myself who is making it. 
I could live with you wanting quiet. I’m a quite noiseless person myself. Yes however, we’d just have to make sure we stay in sync.

I too like a quiet place to live in which I can get things done. It’s hard to do that when you’re surrounded by people who don’t care about your sense of peace. I know all too well about noise you didn’t ask for. In my apartment I sometimes hear my noisy neighbors as their going about their business. It’s not fun hearing other people’s racket. It’s even more annoying when you’re blind because you lose your concentration due to the thumps and noise from others. Oh well, you can’t really get decent quiet housing, unless you live out in the country. That is not an option for me since I rely heavily on public transportation and sidewalks to get around. It would be nice if there was a law for all apartment complexes to not rent to people who choose to make unnecessary noise. It’s not fair to other people who have to listen to your crap.
