Happy Thanksgiving to you also.

Yes, I will indeed be gong to the retreat at camp next week.

Hmmm. I hadn’t heard that   [Rick]   was having such health problems that he was considering backing out of the winter camp trip. But then, I’ve been away for the past four days and so there are probably lots of new news items that I have not yet heard. Ah well. Such is the price of going away. :-)

Hope your computer recovery is going well. Those hard drive crashes are almost always nasty, and definitely never convenient.

Dear Lynn: Back From Thanksgiving

[Lynn],

Hi there. I just got in the door. Need to return some phone calls as well. But will call you later on. Looking forward to an “unrushed” chat with you. It’s been so long. :-)

The train trip was uneventful, although the weather was very sunny and crisp. Quite chilly (low 40s). But not bad. Got some nice pics of my sister’s house and of a ho down we went to on Friday night. I didn’t dance much. Just took lots of pictures. Hey, everyone’s got a niche to fill. Right?
