Hi sister Joann.
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I’m still here in Philly. The plan now is to come to Altoona on Tuesday. So, we’ll see you then. Next weekend, I’ll go to Pittsburgh for a few days to attend a Christmas party there and catch up with old friends. Then, around December 21st, will return to Altoona to do the formative portion of the Christmas holiday. I can’t wait.
No, that woman [Lynn] won’t bring me down too much. Once I’m home, I’ll probably forget all about her. She and I may still be friends after this. But I told her that she’ll have to do the mending of fences if she wants our relationship to continue, especially since she’s the one who tore them down in the first place. But I’m not holding out any great hope for that to happen. Ah well, at least, on the bright side, she told me about her misgivings BEFORE I took the flight
On the reckless abandon of the diet over the holidays: Yep, I’ll probably enjoy a few Hershey’s kisses and Reese’s peanut butter cups.
So, do you have your house decorated fully yet? Have you gotten your tree? Mom said last night that she does not yet have hers.
