Dear J: Visualization
Hi again, [J].
Visualization has always fascinated me. For about two years, about 10 years ago, I studied it intensely, and learned the basics of dream control. I found it motivational and enlightening in so far as learning one’s true desires and fears goes. Often the chatter of external obligations and pressure from others, drowns out the inner voice and conscience. Visualization in conjunction with dreaming enables one to become more attuned to these voices and thoughts, and, presumably, provides insights as to how to prioritize one’s activities so that one’s truest, most heartfelt desires, are addressed first. You’re in for quite a learning experience about yourself when you visualize. Be ready. It’s like a roller coaster, except that you never quite return to where you started after each visualization session. I have some visualization exercises I often do when looking for answers and will share them with you if you are interested.
