Good-Bye from Dayton

Friday, January 7th, 2000

Dear   [Lynn],

Well, this is the last email you’ll receive from me – from Dayton. When next you get a letter, I’ll be in Philly once again. :-)

Talk to you later,
Tom

Ride Home

Friday, January 7th, 2000

[Brandon],

That was just yesterday [that I was having dinner with friends]. I will ride home with you today. Call me at x6577 when you’re ready to leave.

Thanks,

Dear Lynn: 2000-01-07

Friday, January 7th, 2000

Dear Lynn,

Oh, sorry to hear that your day is out of sorts today. Cheer up sweetie, when you’re ready that is.

Things are going well here. There are, however, just way too many things on my plate. I had to email my manager this morning for assistance. Haven’t heard back from him yet. But he did say something about giving me a resource (Linda) to help me through the mounting mounds of issues with this software. Sure hope he was serious.

Did your house get too cold without the power?

Okay, I won’t jabber at you for a couple more hours. Don’t want to distract you babe.

Later,
Tom

Chrissy’s Sister Ill

Friday, January 7th, 2000

Dear [Chrissy],

I didn’t realize [your sister] was having radiation treatments. Is she ill currently? When did she have them?

Not sure about Ester Price candy and Mike Sells potato chips being available in Philly. But then, I try to stay away from such goodies. I already have to diet to lose the Christmas holiday poundage I picked up. :-)

Later,
Tom

Lunch Reminder

Friday, January 7th, 2000

[Lor]   and   [AM],

Just wanted to make sure we are still on for lunch today. I’ll meet you in the B5/B6 lobby at 11:30, if that’s okay.

Later,
Tom Hesley

Thanks for the description of your area.

Saw Shirley yesterday. She’s doing fine.

Getting ready to fly back to Philly tomorrow. The Dayton visit was great but am looking forward to returning home and getting back to my usual routines.

Talk to you later,
Tom

Dear J: 2000-01-07

Friday, January 7th, 2000

Hi   [J].

You’re welcome. How are you today?

Just getting ready to wrap things up here in Dayton, and return to Philly tomorrow. Been a good time here, but looking forward to getting back home, and back to the usual routines.

I heard that the stock market has fallen sharply over the past few days. Hope you didn’t lose anything.

Tom Hesley

Ah. So, you learned how to send pictures. Good deal.

Returning to Philly tomorrow evening. Will probably talk to you on Sunday or Monday.
