Mugging Pushed Me Away

Dear   [Chrissy],

Made it back home. The trip was uneventful. Nice smooth flight. I was looking forward to getting back to my home office. I missed it. :-)

I’m preparing to move away from Philly and to Altoona, PA, where the bulk of my family lives. Should be finished moving within the next two weeks. In the process of packing right now. Circumstances here make it impossible to stay – extremely noisy neighbors. Also, don’t know if I told you before. But I was attacked while walking home from a movie in late November. And I just don’t feel comfortable on the streets of Philly anymore. And finally, Mom wants to sell me her property – to keep it in the family. With her health being less than perfect, I thought it would be good to spend her remaining days close by, and to look after her if she needs that. Many things are pressing me to go there – as you can see.

Well back to work. Talk to you soon.
