I’ll be Home on Sunday

Wednesday, January 26th, 2000

Dear sister Mary Ann,

Sounds good.

My new phone numbers at Mom’s are:
814-742-xxxx (home)
814-742-yyyy (work)

So don’t forget to put these in your address book.

I will be at home on Sunday, unpacking my office. So give me a call if you’re not busy.

Tabbo’s Status

Wednesday, January 26th, 2000

Dear   [Lynn],

I’m glad Tabbo is better. He seems like such a nice kitty judging from the way you describe him. :-)

Did you ever make it to the medical center to get medicine for your cold?

Well, on the packing, carrying it down the stairs should be easier than carrying it up was when I moved in. And, once we get this load home, only a few of the boxes need to go upstairs. So this move should be relatively easy.

If you’ve already started packing, you should have time to get a complete suitcase together for a week-long trip.

Later.

More Packing Today

Wednesday, January 26th, 2000

HI   [Lynn].

Yes, I’m here and functioning within established parameters. :-) Had two 1-hour meetings this morning and looked into a few problems.

How ya doin’? Thought you might be Land Trustin’ today.

The cleaning lady is coming this afternoon.

The snow is gone now and the skies are blue and sunny. About 30 degrees out. Late this afternoon, headed for the moving place again to buy the last batch of boxes.

Later.

Mom’s Estate: 2000-01-26

Wednesday, January 26th, 2000

Dear sister Christine,

I talked with her [Mom] last night. She said she’d talk to her realtor today, and her lawyer soon after but she didn’t give me a time frame on him. She also wants to chat with Pinky’s brother – the guy that is helping to manage her investments – to get his take on the whole deal. But once I’m home, I’ll be able to encourage Mom to address this issue quickly. She wants to do it quickly I think. So this may not be the uphill battle that it could be if Mom did not want to settle it pronto.

Talk to you later.
