As A Cat, I’d Love Dogs

Friday, February 11th, 2000

Dear   [Lynn],

Meow.

I’d get along well with dogs [if I was a cat], yes. And I will ALWAYS be very happy to see you when you come home. Yep, I’ll curl up and purr, all the time.

So, you were “Javing” trouble waking up? *snicker*

My “normal” self razzles and dazzles. This dazzling is no act. :-)

Later.

My Cold Continues

Friday, February 11th, 2000

Hi [Lynn].

Fun, always. I am feeling somewhat sick today, although the throat is better. Hopefully, this will be a light illness. :-)

In the 40s here today. Very little ice.

Had a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch, with lots of vegetables: Onions, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, oregano, black pepper, salt, and marinara sauce. All on top of a whole wheat bun. Delicious.

Well, back to work, Valentine. Later.

I’ve Gotten A Cold

Friday, February 11th, 2000

Dear sister Diane,

Thanks much.

I believe I got that cold that folks around here have been passing around over the past couple weeks. Ah well, lots of fluids and rest I guess. Have you gotten over your cold yet? How about [your husband]? I need to go get my haircut soon.

I installed a new ceiling light fixture in Mom’s bedroom last night. Looks great, and is much brighter than the old one since it has 3 light bulbs as opposed to one.

Well, talk to you more over the weekend.
