Red-Handed
Dear  [Lynn],
Sounds like [your] red dish will be a hit. Yummy. Do they say “yummy” in Maine?
On red handed: I think originally, the idiom referred to murderers who were caught with blood on their hands (or red handed). More generally, red handed might mean “visible signs of guilt.” Whether the nails are clean or not, the guilty hand still remains red. 
It’s fun harassing. And it is even better to have found something good to harass about.
