Adobe Acrobat
Hey there  [Lynn].
This website you mentioned I cannot access. It times out. It is apparently unavailable at the moment. Will try again later.
I am able to access it now. Must have been a temporary problem.
The form you want to get into Word is a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. I know of no way to convert PDF format into MS Word unfortunately.
However, you could buy Adobe Acrobat 4.0 for $295. That would give you the ability to edit PDF docs. without having to translate them into Word format Probably more than you wanted to spend though.
So, do you sort these checks by number or by date or by some other technique? If she doesn’t write them in order, seems like sorting by date would be useful.
On your second question: You need to Uninstall ALL versions of Acrobat Reader from your PC. Then reboot your PC. Then, go to
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/main.html Â
and install the latest version (4.05 of the English version of the reader for Windows). This should clear up your error messages you get when opening PDF web sites. If not, let me know.
Well actually, the web site you’re accessing creates the PDF files. The Adobe Acrobat Reader is the software package installed on your PC, that enables you to view such files. The Acrobat reader does not create PDF files itself. It only reads them.
Yep, the Dow down more than 350 points today. I definitely lost money too. Join the losers club.
