Play Performance
Dear  [Lynn],
Well, oftentimes, such “errors” are not obvious to the audience – such as exiting left when it should have been right. And blowing a line often goes unnoticed as well. Be ready to improvise if you get it slightly wrong during the performance. And the people watching you (except for the ones who know the play by heart) won’t know the difference. Hang in there. You’re almost home.
Of course, this advice comes from someone who has watched many more plays than he has participated in himself.
So take it with a few grains of salt. I really don’t know what I am talking about when it comes to play performing.
