Dear [Lynn],
Wow. The cost of living doesn’t seem like it would be very high up there, being that you’re located so rurally.
But you probably have to pay someone to come from the mainland to clean. Is that why it costs so much?
Tom
Dear [Lynn],
Nope, I did not end my phone conversation abruptly. I had already been on with Rick, a friend from Philly, for over an hour. And we were saying our good byes when your voice mail arrived.
You SHOULD adopt another kitty. You seem so well suited for cat owning.
The cats like you and you seem very kind to them. Your heart is very big where they are concerned.
Later.
Tom
Dear [Lynn],
Dow up 227.
Nasdaq up 101.
Yes, a very good day today. :-)
Later sweetie.

Dear sister Mary Ann,
Nice chatting with you too.
Get over when you can. Company is welcome here.
With Marci and her baby visiting next weekend, I suspect that lots of visitors will be here, although I believe she will be staying with Joann.
I asked Mom about the leaking roof on the back porch. She thought that [the contractor] had fixed it already. But I will make a closer inspection today.
Well, off to work. Catch you later.
