Kennett Square [KS]
Friday, March 24th, 2000Dear [Lynn],
Just curious if you were finally able to get to Jeeves. It surprises me though that Mapquest says that KS is 226 miles from here. That still seems too far.

Dear [Lynn],
Thin ice is very pretty and clear – lots of rainbows and smooth surfaces. But the problem with it is that one can see, just beneath, a very chilling, dark, possible fate, should the ice break.
Aah, but I skate very fast and so will probably never break through.
Naaah, the bedroom is generally cooler than the one in Philly. But by YOUR standards, any room warmer than 40 degrees would be overheated. Hmmm. I wonder if, once you grow old, you’ll still like sleeping in a deep freeze?
On the crocuses: But the question is: Do the physical appearances of the bulbs offer any clues as to which color their blooms will be?
Tom
Dear [Lynn],
Interesting. Dr. Gabe Mirkin, on his radio show, says that women typically have 4,000,000 eggs and that the hormonal changes that you say trigger menopause, are themselves caused by the egg supply approaching exhaustion. I dunno. I’m just a layman.
Yep, ironically, the life of a sperm is indeed like the life of most of us guys. Trying for hot dates, and almost always in vein. Hmm. Does this sound like a whine?
Can you get some locally made maple syrup up there?
Yep. Teach [your daughter] to be thrifty and frugal, with just a bit of the family attitude thrown in for good measure. *slinking away to hide under something*
No more comments on the typos. Don’t worry. It is only natural, after a while, that when one grows so accustomed to something, that it not be mentioned anymore. *evil grin*
See ya.
Tom
Dear [Lynn],
Nope. Never read the British humor books. Is Jeeves a popular character in such books?
No, Philly isn’t even 250 miles from here, and Kennett Square is closer to here than Philly. I checked out my Franklin Map. Who do you know in Kennett Square?
64 degrees right now. I think that was the high today.
That Tabbo is so cool. I wish I could meet him.
Queen [Lynn]. Kinda has a regal sound to it, ‘eh?
Tom
Dear [Lynn],
I’ll be thinking of you tonight, wishing you all the best in you debut – at least, as far as THIS play is concerned.
Kennett Square is in Chester County, PA. Within 30 miles of Philly. So that would put it approximately 180 miles away from Altoona, although as the crow flies, it’s about 150 miles.
Later.
