Now today, it’s gray and overcast here, although temps are in the low 70s. Nice. Thunderstorms predicted though. Apparently the band of them that will arrive here later today did some severe damage in Ohio overnight. Tornadoes, falling trees, Etc. We’re bracing.
Just took out the garbage.
Voice mail is very effective. I’ve had it for about six years now, although over the long term, it does cost more than an answering machine. But it’s worth it, especially when callers can still leave you a message even though you’re on the phone. Another useful feature is that people can leave you a voice mail without disturbing you if they don’t feel like talking to you directly.
I have call waiting here, but rarely use it. In Philly, they had call waiting caller Id, so you could see who was calling while on the phone with someone else. Then you could decide based on who it is, whether to take the call or let it go to voice mail. I don’t think they have that feature here in Altoona though.
