Reorg
Dear  [Lynn],
Pretty good. I now have a new manager. His name is [...]. Kevin told me this morning. He said he was going to put in a good word for me with the new guy. And I just heard from [the new boss] about an hour ago. Turns out that he and I worked in the same group about 3 years ago. So it’s like going home in a way. He seems like he’ll be easy to dazzle. 
Anyway, [my old boss] wished me well and asked that we not be concerned with what he’ll be doing as of tomorrow, when the reorg takes effect. He assured us that he’d be okay. Hmmm. I hope that does not mean that he is out the door. He says no. Because we made our deliverables for him, that enabled him to consistently meet his deliverables for his superiors. So, he’ll probably still be around.
