My Maine Vacation
Dear sister Mary Ann,
Trip was great, albeit chilly (about 20 – 30 degrees cooler than it is here). But saw lots of the ocean and island, rode the ferry several times, and spent lots of quality time with [Lynn]. We cooked dinners together, and visited some of her friends. I helped her do a bit of her landscaping job. A very nice time we had. I’ll tell you more about it on the phone sometime.
On the Friends Picnic, I might get there at around 4:00 on Friday afternoon. Can’t come for the whole day this time though. I have to make an unexpected trip to Philly (probably this weekend). So, there’s not much time to play with on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But I should be able to make an appearance at the picnic.
