Tid Bits: 2000-06-27

Dear   [Lynn],

Looks like we’re having here today, what you had yesterday. Low 80s but very humid. Lots of dark gray clouds around. No sun today, and none forecast for the rest of this day.

I sent my request for a promotion to my manager. . . *Run for cover* :-)

On the phones: I think you underestimate my patience, dear. If I didn’t rely on them for my business, they could stay out for days and not bother me.

So, how often do you see your parents, now that they’re in town? I imagine you see them lots at first, but as the summer progresses, fewer and fewer visits happen. ? I’m sure the house is fine. You’re a bit of a perfectionist, aren’t you.

Yes, feeling very good about the case. But preparation is never done though. There’s always something more one can do, to substantiate one’s position. And I’ve been scratching my head trying to come up with more ideas of how to do that. It sure would be nice if we could get the noisy woman herself to testify. :-) She’s so mentally unstable that only a few edgy questions from the lawyer would ignite an emotional, violent display that would convince anyone in earshot of the nature of the noise I put up with, and the urgency with which I left. :-) We’ll just have to see how it goes.

Hope the start of your week was nice and productive.

Tom
