Alumni Stuff
Dear  [Tad],
Sorry I missed your call the other night. No, I’ve never heard of “freeway” long distance. Tell me about it and I’ll check into it.
You got my curiosity up about the fellow alum. Who was it [...] ?
How did the weekend go at the school? Did you attend at all? Who did you see?
You’re leaving for work this late in the day? Do you work second shift?
Tell [your wife] I’m looking forward to giving her [a foot massage], if ever I can get away from work for a few days.
Oh, by the way, I’m flying to Vinalhaven, Maine on Friday. Going to spend a week up there with my lady friend, [Lynn]. I’m really looking forward to the break.
Well, take care,  [Tad], and hope to hear from you again soon.
Oh, and one more thing: My home telephone number is 814-742-xxxx. The number you called last week, 814-742-yyyy, is my work number. Though they are both here in the same room, I don’t answer the work phone after 5:00, unless of course, I’m expecting a call.
Later.
Tom
