Dear  [Carlene J],
Hey there,
Happy New Year. How’s it goin’?
I have an apartment once again in Philly, but still retained the office in Altoona, at Mom’s. It’s kind of nice being able to work in two places. When Philly gets old, I just go to Altoona. When Altoona gets old, I go to Philly. When they both get old, I come to Dayton.
Speaking of Dayton, it turns out that I have to come there again between January 18th and January 27th, to make a presentation to an architecture board. Wanted to check to see if you felt any differently about getting together for lunch, than you did last October. If not, no problem. You don’t even have to trouble yourself by responding. I’ll take silence to mean “No.”
Hope the New Year brings you continued good health and success. I’m really into this health thing, you know? Health is such a fragile thing, yet so essential to a good quality-of-life. So, in all the Christmas cards I sent out this year, I wished the recipients “good health”. Admittedly a bit cliché’ and “unoriginal” sounding. But the sentiment was deeply heart-felt indeed, and I hope they sensed that behind the words.
Take care.
