I purchased Norton System Works 2001 Professional today. It found [and fixed] 2 errors during the disk doctor checks, and 333 errors in 8 categories during the system checks. Not bad. And, my machine seems to boot noticeably faster and performs better over all when running programs. You might pass this information along to Tom K, as he was interested. I don’t have his email address handy. Thanks much.
