Uninstalling Netscape 6.1

Hi.
Yes, you can uninstall Netscape 6.1 by going to the start menu –> Settings –> Control Panel. In the window that comes up, find and run the “Add / Remove Programs” applet. This will give you a list of practically all the programs installed on your computer. Look for Netscape 6.1 in the list, select it, and then click the Add/Remove button. Then, follow the resulting prompts. Once you Uninstall Netscape, reboot your machine and see if the slowness disappears.
I installed 6.1 and did not experience the problems you did. So, you either downloaded a corrupt installation file for Netscape, or, Netscape is not the problem.
