Dear [Tad],
Speaking of demerits, what’s the most you ever got in a single week? I think I got 27 one week in eighth grade, and I got some of them from [KC], who, before I came along, had never given anybody demerits. I guess I really roasted her. 
I called the Flanigans this morning, but no one answered. I’ll try again. . .
