Richard Parker Has Cancer
Hey [Tad].
Yes, Rich and I have been in communication about his illness. It is very sad. He’s worked so hard to build a nice family life and career, only to be potentially cut way short. Hopefully, the treatments he’s looking at will extend his life significantly. Maybe they’ll even be able to get him into long-term remission. I hope to make several trips to the burgh to see him in the new year.
And yes, I will be at the party. Under these circumstances, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
Glad to hear about your new house. I bet you’re thrilled.
So, have you been learning how to do home maintenance? Houses will definitely keep you busy with that.
Also, get used to not having as much money. You’ll probably spend lots on home-improvement now. But that’s really fun though. You’re in for quite a delightful ride in home ownership.
I was out working on my brother-in-law’s computer last night, and so did not see your email until today. But here I am, better late than never.
Well, Merry Christmas to you. If I don’t talk to you before the party, I’ll see you then. I should arrive there at Richard’s at around 5:00 PM on Saturday, depending on how long I have to wait for a cab at the train station. Talk to you then.
Tom
