My Latest Cold
Dear [Lynn],
Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. But I’ve been really under the weather for the last week with a nasty cold. I haven’t had one this bad in about 10 years. Most colds in me usually affect one place at a time, starting with the sniffles and headaches, then the sore throat, and finally, the chest. But this one hit all three spots at the same time and for the past three days, all I felt like doing was staying in bed. It’s starting to break though and I’m hopeful that I’ll feel good enough over the weekend to get outside a bit.
