Krispy Kremes are Here!

Well, it finally happened. The Sheetz store across the street from here started carrying them yesterday. Needless to say, I had 4 of them. I’m such a gluten. This will be a real test, to see if I can keep from gaining weight now that the doughnuts are easily accessible.

Free Web Site Scraping Software

I’ve located some free software on the net that is good for automating retrieval of data from web sites. I have to learn how it works though, so that may take a few days.
FYI, the program we’re putting together is called a spider. Maybe you’ve heard of them. It is a wide-spread type of program that companies use to gather data from other companies. I’ll keep you posted on the progress, although I won’t be working on it for the next couple days because I’m getting ready for the dances tomorrow.

WVAM is now one of those ESPN sports outlets. I believe that the only time they play music is on Sunday mornings, for John Kosa’s polka hour. Yep, he still does that, even after 30 years.
We’re getting the carpets shampooed here in the office, and in my bedroom, and the guys are about ready to start in here. [So I'd best get going and make way for them.]

Plan Changes for Pgh. Trip
Tuesday, December 9th, 2003[Tad],
Sight change in plans. I was gong to come out Thursday and leave Sunday. However, [Emmy] is going to be in Pittsburgh from Sunday, December 14th through Saturday, December 20th, and I’d like to be there at least for one day while she is so that we might go out to dinner or something. So, I was thinking of coming Saturday, December 13th to catch Rich’s party, and staying until Tuesday, December 16th. That way, on Monday night I might be able to see [Emmy]. How does this sound?
I’ll be taking a cab to Rich’s place. So you need not worry about providing me transportation out there.
Yes, if I do hook up with [Emmy], it would be Monday night. She’ll be traveling on Sunday and probably won’t get to PVS until late Sunday and probably wouldn’t be up to getting together then. I was thinking that [Morra] could bring her home from work Monday night and then take her back there Tuesday morning, if she wouldn’t mind.
Yes, I’d still like to leave with you after Rich’s party and stay with you Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights.
Oh yea on the Krispy Kremes.
If I don’t talk to you sooner, I’ll see you at Rich’s party. Give [Morra] my thanks for helping to get [Emmy] and me together. I still have to run all this by her. But I’m not anticipating any problems.
