Dear [Lex],
Yes, [Jack] informed me of what [Rick] did to you with the train and all. Not very considerate, was he.
I imagine you’ll get an earful this weekend, if you go out to eat with [Rick]. He’ll probably be hot that I’m not speaking to him. But I’ve just had it with how selfish and dogmatic he acts, and how there’s never any room for anyone else’s opinions except his own. He never even acknowledges that someone else might be right at times.
I don’t plan on seeing him for quite some time. We may be friends again someday. But he’s got a lot of apologizing to do. Knowing him though, I don’t think he’ll ever do that. Thus, we won’t be friends again. Friendship with him is just too stressful. It’s time he be made to feel the consequences of treating people as badly as he does – ignoring their feelings, attempting to ruin their relationships with others, and so on.
Well, perhaps you, [Jack], and me can start a new circle of friends.
Later,
Tom Hesley
