Upset With Rick
Dear [Lex],
I’m not happy with [Rick] these days myself. He came to Pittsburgh with me last week, to my school alumni weekend, and behaved badly there. I was so embarrassed.
At any rate, I told him not to bother calling me, and that I’d call him when I’m ready, although that might take a long time. He really made me mad this time, that coupled with how he tried to break up me and a young lady I was seeing in January by telling her all sorts of propaganda about me.
He hasn’t treated me much like a friend lately, and I’m just tired of how interacting with him makes me feel stress. When you’re with [Jack], ask him about it. He knows the whole story about the alumni weekend that [Rick] foiled with his lack of manners and overt pushiness.
