Home for Labor Day
Dear [Ann],
The sun was out this morning. But it went away around 10:00, and it’s been cloudy here ever since.
Mom and I went to Delgrosso’s amusement park for about a half hour this afternoon, thinking we’d find my youngest sister there with her boys. But they had been there earlier and were already gone because it was too chilly to play at the water park. So, we came back home and I took a three-hour nap. I’m still wiped out from Saturday. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have my energy back.
Yes, I did dream of Mary last night. Both of them. They kept me warm. So I guess I don’t [need] anyone else.
There are a few picnics around, but none to which we were invited. No matter. I’m content to stay at home.
