Water in Basement
Dear [Ann],
No, I haven’t sold any [WPSBC Alumni raffle] tickets. I’ll have to take them with me tomorrow and see if my sisters will buy any.
Water in the basement here today – a couple inches in spots. The sump pumps weren’t working, so I got them straightened out and then the water disappeared quickly.
Found out that some of the software I was running on Windows 2000 doesn’t work with XP. Not too big a deal but it’s going to cost close to $100 to upgrade it. There may be a cheaper alternative. I’m looking into it.
Went grocery shopping today. All stocked up now. Also, bought some more concrete to fix other holes in the basement walls with.
