Flood Cleanup Update
Dear [Ann],
Well, got the water heater back online last night. Now the challenge is keeping the water [around it] low enough that it doesn’t smother the pilot light again. Hopefully, water will stop seeping in sometime today. It isn’t coming in the front of the house anymore, but is still bubbling up through the floor around the support beams.
Also, got all the old food out of the freezer and pumped the water out of it as it lay on its back. Then I stood it up and positioned it back where it was before. It runs without blowing any circuit breakers. However, it remains to be seen if it will get cold enough. The compressor may have been damaged from running for so many hours Saturday morning on its side. But time will tell. It sounds like it always did, so I’m hopeful that it will be alright.
Well, going to get a nice hot bath. 
This bath will really mean something.
