Flood Evacuation

No, I’m not mad at you. I’m just not much into the email thing, since I write a lot in my book, and poems, and short story. Don’t take offence, but I’d rather just talk on the phone now and then. Once a week would probably be too often, but once every month or two would be grand. 
We were flooded and had to evacuate this past Friday night. Been working 12-hour days to clean up afterwards. We had around 4 feet of water in the basement and some of my stuff got ruined. Not too bad over all. I’m hopeful that my losses will be less than $500.
