Tax Id Number?
To past WPSBC Alumni Officers:
Joanna says you might know this. Do we have a tax ID number assigned to our organization by the IRS? The reason I ask is that I’m trying to gain access to our checking account through the telephone banking system at Citizens Bank, and they require that number to get in. After I enter our account number, it wants me to enter the last four digits of the tax Id number (for business accounts) or a telephone Id number for personal accounts. Well, I know neither of these, and so left a message with [the previous treasurer] to see if he knows them. Haven’t heard back from him yet and so wanted to check with you as well.
