Tommy’s Tunes Software: 2005-01-13
I’m making progress on the Tommy’s Tunes software; learning a lot about Windows programming, message queues, how windows pass messages between themselves, how to send keystrokes from one window to another, and so on. This enjoyable learning should make possible some useful software eventually. Perhaps one day, I’ll manage music like the pros should I choose to continue DJing.
But Tommy’s Tunes still lacks completely enthralling passion for me, just like writing. Right now, computer programming excites me most, especially since I can do it now without all the political bull. Since I own Tommy’s Tunes, though I make no money at it currently, at least I’m my own boss and thus, removed from the authoritarian ridicule and diminishing looks of bosses. Programming is great without them. That’s definitely better for the health.
