Winter and the Love Quest

It’s a cold and gray day here in Altoona, and I’m so tired of the ice outside and the high gas bills!  Spring, where are you?  I can’t wait to sit out back at my pavilion again.  It’s so relaxing to journal while swinging there with the birds chirping and the lightening bugs flickering like little yellow diamonds in the evening.  This year, I think I’ll let the grass grow up between the pavilion and the river to create a more in-the-wilderness feeling and, to attract more lightening bugs.   :-)   But it’s still winter, and three weeks to spring won’t go any faster if I complain about it.  So I’ll hold my tongue for now, as long as we don’t get any more sub 10-degree days.

Today I worked on my   Tom’s Love Quest   blogcast.  I want to tell the story of my love-life there.  But facing the ending scares me because I don’t know how it will end.  I can’t wait until it really ends to tell it because then, I’ll be dead!  Well, perhaps I should just start writing and have faith that a good end will come.  One thing I know though is that the ending wil be a happy one.  So wish me luck and stay tuned.

This is a good start to the diary. Can’t wait to see what else you’re going to share with us.
