Site Status: Home Page Set Up Today
Monday, March 2nd, 2009Well, I finally got my business’s homepage set up . Visit it at: http://tomhesley.com/. I had put the page on the web server yesterday. But it wouldn’t display. Finally though, after a couple hours of trial and error, I found that the page file must be named “index.htm” in all lower case letters. So if your web site is hosted on http://Godaddy.com and you’re using Linux hosting, take note of this, and you’ll save yourself some frustration.
