Mom Had a DNC Today

My mother’s mom (Gram Jewell) died of uterine cancer at 69 years old. So Mom went for a checkup recently to see if anything was abnormal about her uterus. The doctor thought there might be and they decided to remove it, just to be safe. They took it out at a hospital in Roaring Spring, PA, and let her come home today. Amazing what you can have done as an outpatient. She’s doing okay; sleeping a lot, which is normal for her. So it would seem that all is well.

We should know in a couple weeks after the biopsies are analyzed, whether or not her uterise is cancerous.

New Bandwidth High: 2009-04-21

Yesterday (2009-04-21), my blog sites achieved a new record bandwidth of 70.56 MB!

The   previous record   of 68.23 MB for a single day was set on 2009-04-17 and excedes the old record by 2.33 MB.
