Warmest Day So Far, Again!

The temperature here today rose to 84 degrees, making today the warmest day of 2009 so far. I slept through the entire morning. But the afternoon featured blue skies and bright white sunshine; a pavilion day to be sure. I did go down there and recorded a half hour long journal entry with my wind chimes jangling in the background as the warm winds swirled around them. I really enjoy creating at the pavilion in this weather. Days like this make the winters here worth surviving.

Mom Home from Play

Mom just got back within the past fifteen minutes from a play that my niece, Jesse performed in. Mom said she loved the play and seemed like she felt pretty good over all.

She did ask for a couple water pills before leaving this afternoon. Apparently, she’s gained six pounds in the past week and she wants to head off any additional water weight gain.

Weekly Backups: 2009-04-25

Weekly backups of all my blog sites completed just now. Total disk space: 26.4 MB, which includes all databases as well as site code and static pages. It’s growing; up from 25.5 MB last week.

Mom Out Shopping Today

Mom feels pretty good today. She had some stomach problems earlier. But her spirits are good and she appears more energetic than usual. She left for a shopping trip an hour or two ago. So apparently, any ill-effects of her DNC surgery are small at worst, and non existent at best.
