Today’s Business: 2009-05-19
The high point of the day today was that [Linda] contacted me. For more on that, click  here.  She and I exchanged several very pleasant messages, and I couldn’t wait to leave [Jack] a message, telling him all about it. He and I are scheduled to talk this Thursday about the next party.
Posted several pieces to a favorite mailing list. These will eventually appear here on the blogs, once I finish uploading all my 2009 sent email messages.
Talked with [Emmy] this evening. She was having some hand pain. But she was her usual, bubbly self, and it makes me smile every time I hear her voice.
I’ve been receiving some heated opposition to some of my views in the blogs, that I posted to some mailing lists. They say that my interest in women who are physically attractive to me is shallow and that I should focus more on the personality. I told them that I do indeed focus on the personality, once a good physical attraction has been determined. For me, I need both physical and mental attraction to make a truly divine love connection. They didn’t get it. But hey, I know what I like, and there will be no more compromising. I want the gold ring and so I’ll probably never again settle for silver.
I don’t need approval; just readership.
Watched the news and The Young and the Restless  on the DVR.
It’s garbage day tomorrow. So I’ll go downstairs here as soon as I complete this post, and take it out to the parking lot.
The grass needs cut again so I’ll likely get to that tomorrow.
[Emmy] says that she needs more stevia. So I must remember to box up six bottles for her and take those to the post office this week. If the weather’s nice, I’ll do that tomorrow too.
Mom’s been doing quite well the past couple weeks. Her mood continues to be pleasant, and her stomach problems seem to have cleared up for the most part. The nicer weather has definitely improved her spirits, and she was out watering flowers today on the porches.
She bought herself a white pizza yesterday, and offered me some. But I had to painfully say no, so as to stay on my diet.
Speaking of ‘diet’, I’m down to 170.0 pounds now. I’ve not eaten yet today, but after I do the garbage, I’m having a bowl of Cheerios with bananas and organic skim milk. Yum. Seriously. Yum!Â
That’s all.
