[Someone] let Jay escape, again; second time in two days this cat has gotten out, and perhaps seven times since spring began, and I’m the one who must chase him down. He’s an indoor cat and I worry that if [someone] keeps doing this, he’ll be killed by a car on the highway out front. That’s how his mother died back in 2000, and this kitty has her same interest in the outdoors.

He was gone for well over an hour this time, but finally appeared in the front yard where I could grab him. He’s safe once again. Of course I wasn’t too pleased with [someone] and asked her to please be more careful. So, she’s not too happy with me for that. But maybe she’ll be more careful about letting the door hang wide open in the future. We’ll see.

Wrote a new   Love Quest   post about the flawed idea of a stable of pretty women. Click   here   to read it.

Watched some news and The Young and the Restless   on the DVR.

Posted numerous pieces to various mail lists.

I never did cut the grass but will definitely get to this tomorrow.

Hit a new low weight of 167.0 pounds for the year.

Spent a couple hours at the pavilion with my iPod, where I found an idea for the next   Love Quest   post. This is going to be a letter to [Emmy], with some messages in it for [Linda] too.  Read it   here.

Being that I’ve lost so much weight over the past several days, I went to Sheetz tonight and bought a Philly cheese stake wrap, and a plate of nachos with peppers and cheese. That should slow down the loss rate. I’m trying for at most, two pounds per week.

I just published another piece for and about [Linda] on the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog. Click here to see it. It explains the misgivings I’ve had of late, over building a “stable” of beautiful women. Enjoy.

Weight Loss Progress: 2009-05-20

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

Today, I’ve reached my lowest weight since beginning the current weight loss campaign: The scale said 167.0 pounds. Off three more pounds. The goal weight is 130.0 pounds.

Progress continues to be great this week. I’m still holding my calorie intake below 1000 per day, and eating one or at most two meals daily, primarily in the early evening at around 7:00 PM.
