Today’s Business: 2009-05-21

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Cut all grass this afternoon that I could reach with the Cub. I’ll use the weed whacker another day.

A beautiful, sunny day with no clouds, and the high temp was around 85 degrees.

Talked with [Jack] this evening. We’re making our plans for the next foot party in June. As soon as it’s announced, I’ll make my train reservations, and [Jack] will arrange our ride to the party. I read [Jack] some of the love quest posts, where it became apparent that they’re a bit wordy. So I’ll edit them to make them a bit more snappy tomorrow.  He thought they were fine but I guess I’m super critical of my own writing.

[Emmy] and I listened to the third period of Pittsburgh Penguins hockey on Internet radio. They won. They’re 2 and 0 in this round. Go Penns!

Boxed [Emmy’s] stevia. She says she only has one bottle left, which she just opened. So I guess I’d best get this package to the post office tomorrow.  I’ll walk there, with my iPod in tow.

Watched The Young and the Restless and a little news on the DVR today.

Over all, a pleasant day.

Grass Cutting #3 Done

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

I just finished cutting the grass. The sun is shining brightly and there’s no clouds in the sky. The humidity is very low, so the skies are an extremely deep blue as a result; reminds me of a crisp Saturday afternoon in the fall at a Penn State tailgate party. 84 degrees at present, and my sweatshirt smells like this beautiful day now. I think I’ll go take a nap and put this shirt near my pillow. :-)
