Did several post revisions.

Posted several comments in response to [Linda’s] comments in the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog.

Located the camp medical forms for my physical exam tomorrow.

Watched the Young and the Restless from Friday, and a bit of news on the DVR.

Wrote up the   Month in Review   post for May, 2009.

Listened to the Penguins and Red Wings game; the Penns lost again, 3 to 1.  [Emmy] and I listened to the third period together on the Internet radio.  But she was out with some new friends for the first two periods.  So I listened to those two by myself.  :-)   Not bad.  But I missed [Emmy's] phone company.

[Mentat], it’s been too long since we’ve talked. Where have you been? Give me a call when you have an hour or two.   :-)

Looks like the grass is going to need a cut this week before I head off to Philly, and it’s time once more to pay bills.

Initial Remarks

May, 2009 was a great month over all. I got more done on the blogs. My mission for the next few months is still to finish uploading my personal email to the blogs, and then to start transcribing my audio journals.  The foot party on May 2nd was definitely the highlight of the month.  See the  Tom’s Love Quest  blog for more details on that.

Accomplishments This Month

  • Sent remaining prize check to raffle winners for the WPSBC Alumni Association.
  • Posted all sent email from year 2005, through November 10th.  This is taking longer than expected, due to some very long pieces written to [Mentat] throughout the summer and into the fall.
  • Made Philly trip in early May, 2009 to the foot party.  This was everything I hoped, and more.
  • I met a remarkably beautiful woman there [Linda], whom I immediately fell in love with.  While at this point, indications are that she does not feel the same, I am nonetheless grateful for the experience.  It has strengthened my resolve to win the love quest by proving that the prize I’ve been seeking, does in fact exist.  Remarkably beautiful women aren’t just fignemts of my imagination, because I’ve met them, in the flesh.  So I have been inspired this month, to keep at it.
  • Unfortunately, in light of the previous item, I had to ask [Emmy] to release me from our exclusive dating relationship.  There are letters to her in the  Tom’s Love Quest   blog that detail the reasons.  However, we are trying to keep the deep friendship going that we’ve spent the past six years building.
  • Completed journaling about a few  of the places I’ve lived.  The ones finished so far are McKee Place, Arch St., and Mellon St in Pittsburgh.  Currently working on year 1981 at Jackson St.
  • Wrote seventeen posts for the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog this month.
  • I’ve lost ten pounds this month.  Current weight is 165 pounds.
  • After nearly two years, the BA Lions Club board finished reviewing the first draft of the policy manual document I assembled for them back in 2007.
  • Added ‘Important Concepts’ and ‘Important People’ link categories to the   Tom’s Love Quest   blog.  Click here and here for more details.
  • Replaced a faulty power supply in this, the primary writing computer.
  • Reviewed the changes for the WordPress blogging software, version 2.8, that should be out sometime later this year.
  • Cut the grass twice this month, and weed whacked once.

Planned Accomplishments Next Month

  • Finish journaling about all the places I’ve lived.
  • Attend the June, 2009 VIP foot party.
  • Visit [Emmy].
  • Lose ten more pounds.
  • Get physical exam and submit all appropriate papers to camp in preps for the July vacation there.
  • Apply all feedback to the BA Lions Club policy manual, and issue a second draft.  Then, someone else in the club will have to take this over, as I must now devote full time to these blogs.
  • Send the defective computer power supply back to Ultra for replacement.

Difficult Issues Still Ongoing

Since [Emmy] and I are no longer seeing each other exclusively, the problem of lacking eroticism in our relationship is now moot.  I’m free now to seek women who excite me more.  That problem still remains however. Fixing it will still not be easy, even with [Emmy] out of the picture.  However, with the foot parties and other pursuits, at least I can explore other women now without a guilty conscience.  Hopefully in the coming months, there will be good news to report as a result on this front.
