Sunday, June 28th, 2009Weekly backups of all my blog sites completed. Total disk space: 31.1 MB, which includes all databases, site code, and static pages. That’s an increase of 700 KB from 30.4 MB last week.

Saturday, June 27th, 2009Went shopping this morning with sister JoJo. Total bill was $118.47. Items purchased included the following:
- A Hamilton Beach tea kettle
- Organic fat free vanilla yogurt
- Sunmaid Raisins
- Beef roast
- Turkey breast roast
- Organic Skim milk
- Cheerios cereal
- Blueberries
- Bananas
Afterwards, we got coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts.

Thursday, June 25th, 2009Had [Emmy] post a couple messages on the social networking site. They said that she has a “hot” voice.
Spent a few hours social networking. Very addictive. Looking for ways there to promote my blogs, as well as to make new friends.
Uploaded my sent email for January, 2007 to the blogs.
Got caught up on The Young and the Restless.
Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died today. Farrah’s death was expected. Michael’s was not.
Watched the Dateline NBC special tonight on Jackson and Fawcett with [Emmy] on the phone.
Thunderstorms just after midnight; probably the most violent we’ve seen this season so far.

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009Mowed the grass. Finally, a couple dry days lately so this could be done.
Chatted with a few new friends on my favorite social networking site. Told them about my blogs and they’re checking them out. Some have emailed me already saying that they like them.
Spoke with [Emmy] on the telephone.
My teapot developed a leak. So, it’s the microwave oven until I get to Wal Mart, to purchase another cordless electric kettle.
Signed up and received confirmation for the next foot party on July 3rd.

Grass Cutting #5 Done
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009I just finished cutting the grass. The sun is shining brightly in a cloudless blue sky. The humidity is again very low. Temps are in the low 80s at present.

Today was sunny and dry; clear, deep blue skies and a bright white sun.
Mowed the east half of the yard.
Cut up and dragged the rest of the mulberry tree branch that broke last week down to the compost pile.

Converted the lists of archive links on each blog’s home page into a drop-down list box. This should simplify the layout of the home pages somewhat by reducing the number of links on them.
