Listened to the news for nearly an hour, and today’s episode of The Young and the Restless  on the DVR.

Sister Christine stopped down for a half hour this evening. Then, within minutes of her departing, her husband showed up and he and I chatted in the yard for twenty minutes. He gave me tips on how to sharpen my chain saw blade, as it apparently needs it.
I baked a small turkey roast. It was supposed to take 45 minutes at 350 degrees. But the meat thermometer didn’t read above 160 degrees until 1 hour and 15 minutes into baking. No problem though, because the meat was still very moist. I also microwaved some fresh asparagus and had a few fresh strawberries for dessert. Great dieters meal. 
 No, it really was quite tasty.Â
