Today’s Business: 2009-06-05
Friday, June 5th, 2009Added important person Darwin to the Tom’s Love Quest blog.
Traveled by train to Philadelphia. Arrived at [Jack's] at around 4:00 PM. We hung out for a couple hours, listening to 80s music on his cable TV. Then we went to Allegro’s Pizza for supper. The rest of the evening, we listened to more music and talked much about the foot party tomorrow. He introduced me to a social networking chat line that he’s been enjoying himself. I may sign up for it. There’s a lot of bashing on it though it appears to be good-natured bashing for the most part. Normally, I’m not into being bashed or doing the bashing for that matter. But this sounded quite amusing. It could be fun. [Jack] loves it. I think I’ll listen in a while before posting any messages, just to read the crowd a bit before jumping in.
Read [Jack] the birthday letter [Emmy] sent him. It arrived in his mail box the same day (today) that I arrived as his door. 
He enjoyed her letter, but wanted to wait until tomorrow to receive the hockey puck birthday gift.
It’s great visiting Philly again. It’s my home away from home. The place has such a throb about it, as it did when I lived here ten years ago. I sure miss that throb.
