Today’s Business: 2009-06-09
Tuesday, June 9th, 2009Vacuumed and dusted the bedroom, in preps for [Emmy's] arrival tomorrow.
[Mentat] called this afternoon and we chatted for the better part of two hours. He’ll be visiting this weekend, and I’m looking forward to discussing the latest developments in the love quest with him.
[Emmy] and I listened to Penguins hockey this evening. The Pens won, 2 to 1. The seventh and final game will be this Friday in Detroit. Hopefully, the Pens can hold on and win the cup.
[Jack] called this afternoon to say that he’s working hard to make the July foot party. He had been pretty sure that he would not be going, but had such a great time at the June one that he’ll likely not be able to stay away from the next one. I hope he goes as well. I’m already looking forward to it.
Noticed that the window frames in my bedroom are going to need painted again (we just did them in the summer of 2007). That paint must have been really cheap. So this time, I’ll make sure to get top-notch stuff.
The Lions Club wants me to work their bingo fundraiser this weekend. I agreed. However, then, [Mentat] called and wants to visit this weekend. So, either I’ll take him and [Emmy] with me to the park, or I’ll cancel. Need to talk to the organizer tomorrow and see if she has anyone else who can cover for me.

Sent a check for $500 to Audio Darts of Pittsburgh, to subsidize the insurance premiums they must pay to hold their dart league meetings at WPSBC. [Tad] should be pleased, as he spearheaded this project within our alumni association.
