Sunday, August 2nd, 2009Watched an hour or so of news.
Filled Mom’s medicine trays and ordered some meds we’re getting short on.
Rode train to Philly. Departure time: 3:49 PM. Uneventful trip.
A couple hours social networking throughout the day. Left journal-style entries there about the trip, what we passed by on the way, and some tid bits of trivia about Philadelphia. People seemed to enjoy these descriptions.
Reached [Jack]’s place at around 9:30 PM. I took a cab there this time since the buses are scarce on a Sunday night, and I wished not to be hanging around dark public areas too much.
Weather today: Partly sunny and dry. High temps in the low 80s.
