Today’s Business: 2009-08-04

A few hours social networking on the telephone, on a public voice mail system.

Rode train back to Altoona from Philly. A pretty uneventful trip although we got behind a freight train or something that delayed us, making us 20 minutes late getting into Altoona.

During the evening, I cut all the grass. Tomorrow, weed whacking the yard is on the agenda.

Watched a half-hour or so of news.

Weather today: Mostly sunny and dry. High temps in the upper 80s in Philly. Probably the low 80s in Altoona.

Grass Cutting #7 Done

I just finished cutting the grass. Mostly cloudy today and the humidity is low. Temps are in the upper 70s at present.  During the first haf hour of cutting, the skies darkened and I thought I might get rained on.  But the threatening clouds left quickl, no rain fell, and I finished the entire yard without getting wet.
